OCN® of the Year
Award recognizes outstanding achievements of an OCN® who has made significant contributions to oncology nursing and oncology nursing service, and who has supported and promoted oncology nursing certification. Nominations will be accepted September 1 – November 15.
CBCN® of the Year
Award recognizes outstanding achievements of a CBCN® who has made significant contributions to breast care nursing and breast care nursing service, and who has supported and promoted oncology nursing certification. Nominations will be accepted September 1 – November 15.
Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse of the Year
Award recognizes outstanding achievements of an AOCN®, AOCNP®, or AOCNS® who has made significant contributions to oncology nursing and oncology nursing service, and who has supported and promoted oncology nursing certification. Nominations will be accepted September 1 – November 15.
BMTCN® of the Year
Award recognizes outstanding achievements of a BMTCN® who has made significant contributions to BMT nursing and BMT nursing service, and who has supported and promoted oncology nursing certification. Nominations will be accepted September 1 – November 15.
Certified Pediatric Oncology Nurse of the Year
Award recognizes outstanding achievements of a CPHON® or CPON® who has made significant contributions to oncology nursing and oncology nursing service, and who has supported and promoted oncology nursing certification. Deadline: May 1
Employer Recognition Award
Award recognizes organizations that provide sustained support and recognition of oncology nursing certification. Two awards are available, one for organizations that employ less than 25 RNs and one for organizations that employ more than 25 RNs. Nominations will be accepted September 1 – November 15.
Roberta Scofield Memorial Certification Award
Annual award that recognizes nurses who are committed to oncology nursing. Up to 150 recipients will be selected to receive one free registration for a certification test or renewal the following year. The nomination period for the 2025 Awards will be open July 8 - September 15, 2024. Deadline: September 15
Pearl Moore Certification Champion
The Pearl Moore Certification Champion Award recognizes the enduring impact and dedication to excellence of an individual that has demonstrated a lifelong commitment and passion for and served as a true champion for oncology nursing certification. This lifetime achievement award recognizes both the impact of their work and their enduring influence and legacy.
